What is meant by Low Vision

Low vision is a visual impairment that cannot be improved by surgery or medicines and by routine glasses or contact lenses. Severe eye disease can result in Low vision that restricts normal daily activity. A person with low vision finds it difficult to carry out his routine work and may have difficulty in reading, driving, recognising faces and moving about. In the past there was not much hope for patients with low vision but now by adopting newer technologies we at Vision Plus Eye Centre can offer some solutions that can help people with low vision to conduct their day to day activities. Types of Low Vision
